Chris Eagen Trainer, Strength Programming

Chris is a Cerified Crossfit Level I Trainer, an Olympic Lifting Certified Trainer, and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.  He played competitive sports during high school and college, excelling at baseball where he went on to play Division II ball.

After graduating from SJSU, he joined different sports teams and leagues.  They all fell short of the challenge, both physically and mentally, that he was craving in is life.  Chris was introduced to this thing called "Crossfit" and has never looked back!  He relects that the first workout he experienced left him depleted--physically and mentally.  "I couldn't believe it," Chris remembers.  "The only thing I could think of was, 'I want more!'"

In addition to teaching group classes at CFLG, Chris is always looking forward to private coaching lessons to take anyone to their next level.

John Bourgeois - Trainer, Social Media

John was the first student at the first class when CrossFit Los Gatos opened its doors in January 2009 and he hasn’t looked back since.  He is a CF-L1 certified trainer, with specialty certifications in Barbell and Olympic Lifting.  John has a B.S. and an M.S. in biology, and his background includes teaching human anatomy to nursing students.  A lifetime of athletics has taken him through soccer, martial arts, barbell strength training, and now to CrossFit.  Through CrossFit, John has seen rapid personal gains far exceeding the results produced by over 20 years of more traditional strength training.

John thoroughly enjoys teaching and believes it is imperative that exercise be made a high priority.  Exercise, when woven into our lives, becomes an integral part of who we are and results in better health and a higher quality of life.  The community aspect and efficacy of CrossFit exemplify this ideal.  John is a part time trainer and works professionally as a wetland ecologist specializing in habitat restoration projects around San Francisco Bay.  He is also very active in the community and have been a member of the Los Gatos planning commission since September 2005.  In his spare time he also enjoys surfing, hiking and yoga.

Ramm Fadrilan - Trainer

Ramm, a Bay Area native, was born and raised in Los Gatos and is a graduate of the University of San Francisco.  He has been involved with organized sports from a very young age, which includes of receiving his black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of nine years old and playing varsity water polo and varsity basketball at Los Gatos High School.  Ramm also played club water polo and competed in intramural sports at U.S.F.  His previous sports experiences has contributed many skills to his Crossfit training, such as focus, flexibility, coordination, and the drive to keep challenging his body to new limits.  He started doing CrossFit during the summer of 2011 and then pursued and received his CFL1 Certificate that November in order to broaden his knowledge and gain more experience.

Although relatively new to CrossFit, Ramm has jumped in with both feet.  “I tried doing a few workouts on my own but did not realize the true passion I have for CrossFit until I came to CrossFit Los Gatos.  I immediately discovered there was so much more to CrossFit than just working out.  After discovering the community and competitive aspect of being part of a box, and being around dedicated peers, I realized I was hooked!  This is what CrossFit is all about!  I love the feeling of finishing a WOD, hitting the ground in a pool of sweat, and knowing that I just pushed my body to a new level!”
